
INDIANAPOLIS POLICE OFFICER ARRESTED FOR HARASSING EX-WIFE WHILE ON DUTY

An Indianapolis police officer has been arrested for harassing his ex-wife.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, Nicholas Cauley was arrested on Friday on preliminary counts of official misconduct, a Level 6 felony, and harassment, a Class B misdemeanor.
Cauley is a nine-year officer of IMPD and was serving in the North District. He reportedly was repeatedly contacting his ex-wife despite her numerous attempts to request that he stop.
Police stated that he drove to his ex-wife’s place of employment while on duty and in his police vehicle. Additionally, he used his authority as a police officer to look up her license plate information.
